Gnome runes are mysterious artifacts made by the gnomes. They are encrypted treasure maps which lead you to the gnomes hidden treasure, but to do so you need to activate them using Quicksilver. But that is not all, after activating the rune you also need to solve a riddle leading you to the location of the hidden treasure, but be vary some treasures have guardians

Where to find the runes

You can find the runes while fighting monsters, but be warned, some weaker monsters also carry around counterfeit runes which are failed attempts at replicating the gnomes work and thus worthless. The stronger the monster the higher the rarity of the rune dropped. You can also find the runes while raiding the hidden gnomes instance which you can access by using Gnome Runes Pack of Cards or В«Gnome RunesВ» improved Pack of Cards. The level of the rune dropped depends on your level.

How to Open the runes

To open the rune you must activate the rune and visit the location listed. Runes with rarity of green or higher have guardians. Runes with red quality are located in the opposing races land and have a puzzle you must solve before accessing the treasure.

Rewards

After opening the rune you get a casket corresponding the colour of the rune used. Every casket has either Gnome Coin or Valuable Gnome Coin. The amount of coins depends on the rarity of the rune.
