Battle of the Mercenaries Glitch/Problem

I bought the Enchanted Killer Axe for the Battle of the Mercenaries quest and now its not letting actually accept the quest, it keeps taking me to the screen to buy the Enchanted Killer Axe, If i have to buy a new axe im not guna be happy because I cant just throw 10g away like that. What is going on with this? Please fix this. Thanks

I was just advised those axes are not usable anymore.........I would appreciate the 10g returned to me. They were for an event, and I am not sure why they are still around if the event is not active and if its not a quest.

Hi,

i have the same problem, had to buy one of the dodger axes yesterday for 5g. Is there any possibility, that you could sort it out, so that the village patrol works as it is supposed to work? Not that i am stucked in buying axes that i cant even use.
