valor question

i have a question about the valor number under the meter (24666) being 8k different then what is listed under the attributes (32666) screen. which one is correct?

the other question is about the total needed for the next rank?

the meter says that i only need 30k to reach my next valor level, but after talking to a mentor they said i would need 38k to reach my next level. which one of these is correct?

it was by the mentors suggestion that i bring this quest here for an answer.

This isnt the right section. You should post this at Mentors advice.

As for the answer, the bar at the top left corner shows the Valour needed to reach next rank while the Valour at atributes show the total valour you've earned in game.

8k valor = 2nd rank (Soldier)
30k valor = 3rd rank (Fighter)

So the bar at the top left of your screen should first count up to 8000, then reset and count to 30,000 to show your progress in ranks.
Your attributes should count the whole valor and therefore go up to 38,000 when reaching the 3rd Rank.

So, to answer your questions, both values are correct and - as the mentors already pointed out - the total valor needed for the 3rd Rank is 38,000.
