mysterious ailment problem

after 1st battle w/ vet. demon dogs I get message:"The scarlet liquid slowly trickles to the bottom of the vessel. Now you have a Half-Full Glossy Flask, but you need to fill it to the top." but item description is 'half-empty'.
after several more battles I get same message but item is now 'half-full'.

had the same problem..just keep killing them. it will fill up sooner or later
