Whispers of exciting news have taken Faeo by surprise! Very soon,

Galash the Merchant will acquire the rarest of maps. Etched into the rare parchment is the path to the sacred Mount Mystras, which rises from the sea far away from both continents. This means that very soon you will be able to visit the amazing land of Genies, different from the rest of Faeo even by the very laws of nature!

What treasures do these magical lands hold? What awaits you on the slopes of Mystras and in its surroundings?

Four new picturesque locations are available to players who have reached level 5.
Powerful Genies, cunning demons, unseen monsters, talking mushrooms, and playful mandrakes.
A new hunting system: monsters and resources will spawn specifically for each player, but if necessary, players can assist in battle. The system is designed to ease the hunting process and make it more comfortable.
A large number of achievements!

New storyline, side quests and daily tasks.
Unique resources and their own system for acquisition, requiring special skills and endurance to overcome the challenging conditions of working on the slopes of Mount Mystras. When extracting resources, you will accumulate a certain amount of fatigue, which will be reset daily after 04:00 in the morning. Exhausted by labour, your character will be unable to continue with resource extraction until you recover your strength.
Unique processing system: extracted resources can be processed to obtain materials needed to upgrade your equipment. In turn, each obtained material increases the chance of successfully upgrading weapons by 7 percent or more.

Traditional features: resources and materials will have a transferable status.
The amazing dathar energy permeates from everything and is used to craft weapons.

New features: In the land of the Genies, the combat characteristics of monsters and the monetary loot from them will adjust according to the player's current level. However, using additional blessings to increase the monetary reward after battles with monsters on the sacred mountain is impossible. All loot from a defeated monster, including money, is fully awarded to one player in the group, without being divided among all participants. Perhaps this will be a significant factor in favor of solo hunting. Do not be alarmed: players of different levels and races will be present in each of the locations with you.
Weekly chest with rewards based on your activity for the week.
New style items, appearances, and much, much more.

The independent Genies highly value peace and quiet: negative effects cannot be applied in the new lands. However, entering the zone will not clear your character of negative effects if they were applied previously. Conventional attacks in these lands will be prohibited, and if you still need to carry them out, you will have to obtain special scrolls, which will be available later in limited quantities.

We hope that Mystras will become a pleasant addition to the rest of Faeo, and that you will be able to spend and enjoy a couple of hours there each day, completing the main tasks on the 'mainland.' In future, we will plan the introduction of several reputations, PvE instances, continuation of the storyline, and another location with its own story and challenges. But that is in the future. For now, get ready for the journey!

The path to the sacred mountain is expected to become available on approximately 19 January 2024.
