 PvP Event: Dragon Battle, Sun. 28th | 26.03.2010 04:40 |
In the eternal war between  Magmars and  Humans the dragons Striagorn and Erifarius have been very active recently, leading armies of warriors to the enemy lands, and even invading the enemy capital. 
Now it is time for the two dragons to meet face to face. On Sunday it is time for the two dragons to fight each other again. It is your duty as a warrior of your nation to support your dragon in this fight. Come to the Plateau of Silence where this battle will take place and do everything you can to make sure your dragon wins the battle. This battle could well determine the destiny of your nation! A great Valour reward is wating for you! To help your dragon, bring as many summons as you can as you will be able to use them, even after the battle turns into a Great Battle. This great event will begin Sunday, 18:00 Faeo time on the Plateau of Silence. Due to preparations for the event, the location will be inaccessible from 17:00 untill 18:00 Faeo time.
Be there and prove worthy of your Dragon's trust!

| I really enjoy and get so excited when I hear of the dragon face-offs, invasions, great battles, and wars.......but why would you ever have summons in the great battle. Oh yeah, it is the fair weekend... "bring as many summons as you can", so the fight can go for 12 hours instead of 4... so people can spend a ton of money on summons...is valour received going to be from all damage? or just damage inflicted on the mags.... yeah makes me want to rush right in. I don't think this is cool, this is just another way admin is fattening their wallet; not fattening our desire to stick it out and play; and certainly not increasing our valour.
I am really enjoying some of the updates... transfer times is not one of them
hearing some rumours as to where this game is going.. and watching some of my dearest friends leave out of frustration and disappointment; not so enjoyable. Higher levels (level 12+)especially, feeling discouraged and leaving...can't afford to fight, can't afford not too,
I just wish admins cared 10% about the game as much as the players do. I personally love this game, its complexity, strategy, challenges, variety, and mostly and above all the people that play it... the game itself, has great potential and when the humans rally together and fight to defend our great land against the mags, it no longer is a game, to me... its a matter of control and existance. The coming together of all levels to sacrifice our characters even in death fighting side by side for one common goal, defeat the mags and keep control of our home land. We work on trying to make our characters the best they can be, by working on all the various reps; valour, boe/bov, and even all professions, to become the strongest warriors and fight side by side with our beloved dragon. Not to win on lose based on how much money can be spent on summons. You don't need honour and valour for to spend money, that's the cowards way out. After all, these battles and invasions are what we strive and play the game for, to show your worthiness, honour and dedication to our dragon and to each other. |

| are you seriosus??? dont you learn anything when people say they fight more summons than mags/humans?? what the heell is the point of fighting summons?? we don't get any valor from doing damage to them..they just make the fight longer and whichever team has more money will win...it has nothing to do with skill or strategy!! just everyone fill backpack with summons and throw them out...
like I said about giving lvl 1-5 purple resources in malleable badlands THINK BEFORE YOU MAKE EVENTS!!! they can't pick those resources...this will be another washout event |

| Too many summons = too much experience + too much time wasted in the great battle = really really bad. The fight might last more than 5 hours......Therefore i think the event will be blamed by most of the players |

I think they just want to bound this PVP event with the trade fair....They just want to increase their sale instead of knowing what do the players really want. This event will probably turn into a totally disaster :( |
